The rapid growth of animal farming in India has driven up the local demand for animal feed. To meet daily production needs, a poultry farmer from India contacted us through our official website. With our recommendation, the customer introduced a feed pellet production line with a daily output of 2 to 3 tons.

Below are the key details of this project:

  1. Farming type: Poultry (broiler chickens)
  2. Farm size: Small to medium scale (~5,000 broilers)
  3. Feed materials: Corn, rice, wheat, soybean meal, cottonseed meal, rapeseed meal, limestone powder, wheat bran, rice husk powder, etc.
  4. Pellet sizes: The line is used to produce three different pellet sizes based on the customer’s farming needs.
Pellet Size to Be Produced Feeding Stage
    2.5 mm Chicks
    4 mm Growers
    6 mm Broilers
  5. Production line setup: The line uses a cost-effective configuration and includes the following equipment:

Horizontal feed mixer: Evenly mixes raw materials to ensure consistent nutrient distribution.

Sealed screw feeder: Transfers the mixed materials to a buffer bin with dust-free delivery.

Elevated buffer bin: Temporarily stores the feed mix and ensures a steady, balanced supply to the pelletizer.

Flat die pellet machine: Compresses the feed into pellets under high temperature and pressure.

Conveyor: Moves the hot pellets for natural cooling and shaping. This prevents deformation or sticking and makes storage and packing easier.

The client said that this production line has effectively reduced farming costs. Each day, there's still feed left after feeding the chickens, and they are now considering expanding the farm.
