This customer is based in Anhui, China, where corn is widely grown. After each harvest, a large amount of corn stalks is left unused. With no good way to handle them, these stalks are often burned or dumped, which harms the environment and wastes useful material.

In early 2023, the customer decided to turn this waste into something valuable. They built a biomass pellet line using corn stalks as raw material. To do this, they chose two of our KH-680 ring die pellet machines, with a combined output of 3 tons per hour.

The full setup includes:

  • A crusher with high-speed blades made for fibrous stalks
  • A screw and elevator system for smooth feeding
  • Two KH-680 pellet machines with wear-resistant ring dies
  • A simple storage bin and packing area for finished pellets

The customer collects leftover corn stalks from nearby farms at a low cost. After crushing, the stalks are used as raw material for biomass pellet production. This not only solves the problem of waste buildup but also helps reduce production costs.

The finished pellets are mainly supplied to local brick factories, boiler users, and heating companies as a clean fuel source. Demand is steady, and the overall return so far has been quite good.
