The client is a mid sized poultry producer in southern Brazil, raising broilers and layers with an annual output of about two million birds. As the farm expanded over the past six years, the old feed production line could no longer support the required capacity.
They had been using a small line, but aging equipment and limited output pushed them to upgrade. Local options failed to meet their expectations, so after seeing our equipment on YouTube, they contacted us.
The clients shared their current layout and daily material usage, and we proposed an expansion plan with new mixing, pelleting, and cooling equipment.

The client raises both broilers and layers, so their daily feed formulas involve multiple additives.
To make formula switching easier, we added several auxiliary ingredient inlets to the original horizontal mixer, allowing vitamins, minerals, and other additives to be added while the main materials are mixed.

Based on the target capacity after expansion, we selected an SZLH300 ring die pellet mill for the client, with an output of about 2 to 3 tons per hour. A buffer hopper was added above the pellet mill inlet for stable feeding.
After mixing, the material is lifted into the buffer hopper and then fed evenly into the pelleting chamber. The process runs smoothly and does not require additional manual intervention.
Fresh pellets come out at high temperatures and need to be cooled before storage or use.
Considering the client's available space and discharge layout, we supplied a counterflow cooler with an integrated screening system, supported by a vertical elevator for return material and discharge diversion.
The counterflow design cools pellets quickly within a small footprint and removes fines and broken pieces, resulting in cleaner pellets with more consistent hardness.

To simplify management of the new expansion line, we equipped the system with an independent control cabinet. Mixing, conveying, pelleting, and cooling can all be started, stopped, and monitored from a single panel.
When the new line runs alongside the existing one, it can be operated independently through this cabinet without affecting the current production schedule.

The expansion line has finished production and testing, and the equipment has been loaded as requested. It is now en route to Brazil. We will keep track of the shipment and assist with installation to ensure smooth start up.
